transitFX.SMS lets riders use text messaging on their cellular phones to request and receive route departure information.

How it works

Routes and Departures can be obtained by simply text messaging the 5 digit number along with the specified stop point string identifier. transitFX will then reply to the user with the requested route information and bus departure times
If a user has opted-in to the transitFX.SMS service through their transitFX.Rider account they will receive customized reroute and alert information
Bus stops are labeled with their stop point SMS string and listed through transitFX.Web
